Italy Beyond Exhibition

The sixth edition of the China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) offered an opportunity to present a different vision of Made in Italy. Rather than displaying products alone, the Italian Pavilion showcased processes, craftsmanship, creativity and direct interaction with the public, transforming the exhibition space into a living laboratory of Italian culture and enterprise.

A Platform Connecting Culture and Business

Coordinated by Salotto Italia–Cina in collaboration with Consorzio Leonardo da Vinci World Wide, the pavilion brought together companies, institutions, educators and cultural operators around a shared narrative of quality, innovation and international cooperation. Food, fashion, design, education and tourism were presented not as separate sectors, but as parts of a broader Italian ecosystem.

The Beginning of a Permanent Presence in Hainan

The participation at CICPE also marked the public introduction of a broader strategic project centered on Sanya and the Hainan Free Trade Port. Within this framework, the Salotto Italia–Cina and the future Leonardo da Vinci Museum of Sanya were presented as permanent platforms designed to strengthen long-term relations between Italy and China through culture, enterprise and international dialogue.

Amalart and the Value of Cultural Diplomacy

Through its involvement in the development of the Salotto Italia–Cina and the Leonardo da Vinci Museum project, Amalart contributed to transforming a trade fair presence into a platform for cultural diplomacy, international cooperation and sustainable relationship-building between institutions, territories and businesses.
