Deity of beauty and every aspect of love, here portrayed triumphant with the “apple of discord” in her hand. It was contended between  her, Athena and Era. The prize had to be awarded to the most beautiful goddess. She won it by ensuring  Paride, the judge,  the love of the most beautiful woman in the world: Elena from Sparta.
