Sea and Mountain poetry - Saint Jean Cap Ferrat (France)

Amalart is proud to announce a great exhibition devoted to two of the greatest artist of our network:

"Sea and mountain poetry"

20/07/2018 - 02/08/2018

Espace Neptune - Saint Jean Cap Ferrat (France)

The exhibition “Sea and Mountain Poetry” presents paintings by Sun Dawei and Michel Aubéry, an incredible blend of Chinese and Monegasque art. With references to the Classic of Mountains and Seas, the works translates artistss passion into mythical emotions, and presents the audience with scenes from “another world”.

The two artists are known as an active and engaging artist. To articulate them poignant messages through art, Michel Aubery and Sun Dawei integrate traditional painting style to the modern and advanced style.

The show, organized by Amalart, in collaboration with Big Eyes Vision lnternational, starts the 20th of July and run until the 2nd of august at Espace Neptune, an amazing place dedicated to exclusive events in St Jean Cap Ferrat, one of the most important cities on the Cote d'Azur, located only 20 minutes from Nice, and even closer to Monte Carlo.

Born in Monaco and of Monaco citizenship, Michel Aubery starts drawing at the age of 9. His first drawings represent surrealistic animals, made with pencil or Chinese ink, a great connection with the chinese artist invited to the exhibition.

Sun Dawei is a graduate of the Central Academy of Arts and Design in Beijing, and has collected accolades from entities in Singapore, Taiwan, and mainland China.

Cap Ferrat, on the French Riviera, is both glamorous and beautiful, yet remains remarkably unspoilt. The charm of this forested peninsula between Nice and Monaco has always attracted the rich and famous, who were drawn by the light, the peace, the views of sea and craggy Provençal coastline, and the cobalt waters all around.Yet unlike much of the south coast, it has remained remarkably unspoilt,

with none of the Waggish elements of St Tropez.

As you stroll along its coastal footpaths, which reveal tantalising glimpses of grand villas and gardens, you almost expect to bump into David Niven, Somerset Maugham, or Charlie Chaplin – all of whom once had homes here.

Yet despite the away-from-it-all feel, it is only 25 minutes from Nice (where the carnival runs until the end of February), and even closer to Monte Carlo.

Salon Neptune is an amazing place dedicated to all kinds of events: exhibitions, communal events conferences, private events, conferences, seminars.
