Exhibitions
An interpretation and visitor experience centred on an artist, a work or a movement. A commission may cover the whole project or specific elements: concept, curation, exhibition narrative and communication.

Amalart takes on heritage that belongs to others, interprets it and gives it a form that can reach people and contexts not yet familiar with it, without losing its meaning.
These encounters lead to exhibitions, museums and lasting relationships.
The Amalart project began in 2012. In April 2013, a few weeks after the company was established, its first exhibition brought five Italian artists to FYR Gallery in Shanghai.
Since then, our work with China and Asia has grown through exhibitions and relationships with artists, universities, companies and institutions. Today, this work has a permanent base in Sanya: Salotto Italia–Cina and the Leonardo da Vinci Museum, Sanya, scheduled to open in 2027.

Thirteen years of temporary projects, lasting relationships and two permanent bases.

→ corporate museumsAmalart develops exhibition projects for artists and galleries, on its own initiative or by commission. It identifies venues and manages the organisation and communication of each stage, particularly between Europe and Asia.
→ Explore Projects for Artists on the TimelineIn 2015, Amalart created an experience in Milan centred on The Last Supper. That project began a body of work that brought Leonardo to China and is now becoming a permanent museum in Sanya.
→ LeonardoCo-founded by Amalart with Chinese partners, it has been based in Sanya since 2025. It gives continuity to relationships between companies, institutions and the cultural sectors of both countries.
→ SalottoEach project begins with a heritage survey: archives, works, documents, personal accounts and the people who care for them. Amalart uses this foundation to develop the interpretation and form of the project, bringing in scholars, designers and specialists as required.
Communication develops alongside the project. It prepares audiences for the experience, supports their visit and continues after opening. When a project crosses a border, its narrative is rethought for the people who will encounter it.
From the first project in 2012 to activities already scheduled, the Timeline brings together the documented stages of Amalart's history.
