An exhibition by Naturaliter. A new phase for China.

An exhibition already presented at several international venues. Amalart supports its development for Chinese audiences and institutions.

Amalart's role · Development for China, institutional relationships, cultural adaptation and curatorial input.

The project
An immersive exhibition setting dedicated to the Sistine Chapel frescoes
The visitor journey reconstructs works and contexts to introduce Michelangelo's practice. Exhibition design by Naturaliter.
The collaboration

Taking an exhibition to a new country means introducing it to another audience while retaining the identity of the original project.

Scale reconstruction of David in the exhibition Michelangelo. Il Divino
The scale reconstruction conveys the physical presence of the work and allows visitors to understand it in space.
01 / THE EXISTING PROJECT

An exhibition already developed.

Naturaliter Exhibitions conceived and produced an exhibition on Michelangelo's life and work, in collaboration with the Museo Michelangiolesco and the Comune di Caprese Michelangelo. Scale reconstructions, interpretive materials and multimedia content explore painting, sculpture and architecture.

02 / THE NEW CONTEXT

Developing it for China.

Amalart leads the new phase of development. It identifies venues and contacts, builds relationships with institutions and local partners, and helps adapt the exhibition route, languages and interpretation for the Chinese context.

03 / CURATORIAL INPUT

Expanding with clarity.

The work includes assessing potential additions of original works from museums and collections with which Amalart has relationships. Each loan is selected with the scholarly leads and clearly identified, distinguishing it from the exhibition's reconstructions and interpretive materials.

Clearly defined roles

A shared project, distinct responsibilities.

The collaboration begins with an exhibition that has its own history and authorship. Amalart contributes to its development in China and to additions that may be developed for new venues.
