Kālī (Sanskrit: काली), also known as Kālikā (Sanskrit: कालिका), is a Hindu goddess. The name Kali is derived from the Sanskrit "Kālá", or time — she therefore represents Time, Change, Power, Creation, Preservation, and Destruction.
