Amalart, as Art Communication Partner, is proud to announce a great exhibition devoted to the genius of the Pop Art, that has predicted the "15 minutes of celebrity" for each one of us.

ANDY WARHOL SUPERSTAR

11/11/2017 - 01/05/2018

Casa Carraresi - Treviso (Italy)

Great success during for the opening!

Andy Warhol (born Andrew Warhola; August 6, 1928 – February 22, 1987) was an American artist, director and producer who was a leading figure in the visual art movement known as pop art.

His works explore the relationship between artistic expression, celebrity culture, and advertising that flourished by the 1960s, and span a variety of media, including painting, silkscreening, photography, film, and sculpture.

In Casa dei Carraresi, Treviso, the exhibition centre of the Cassamarca Foundation, from November 11, 2017 until May 1, 2018 there will be more than 40 works by Andy Warhol from private collections.Andy Warhol - Superstar!

Adds to the many tributes to the Pop Art that have been organized in recent years, but "Andy Warhol - Superstar!" takes you into and beyond the Factory.

The exhibition is focused on the concept and phenomenon of the Superstars, and the audience will find several evocative portraits, such as that of the great Regina Schrecker: former lady Universo, top model, and now fashion stylist.

This is an exhibition but also and foremost a show, that presents Warhol's extraordinary works to the public, but also, with the help of high-content video contributions, invites the visitor to experiment the New York climate of the 1960s and 1970s and the glamour of the nightclub Studio54, understand the frenetic pursuit of the POP icon, comprehend the informal atmosphere of the Factory, and recognize some of the personalities that allowed this revolutionary artistic tale to become a myth.

Our last exhibition-hall has been designed to transform the visitors into artwork, and in fact there is a space where you can experience "15 minutes of celebrity" and, if you feel like it... bring them home with you!

The works presented are not only masterpieces of technique and knowledge of the "craft" but are the tangible demonstration of the genius and farsightedness of the Master.

Each section is a discovery, every corner is a joy for the eyes and the spirit!
